Les Davenport invited my family and me to go out on his boat with him and do some carp shooting with our bows. We had a great time!! We would hit pockets of fish and it looked like there were 100 fish in the air at once. My dad had the best luck of all of us. He even got a fish on his first shot!! I enjoyed the boat ride, the wind in my hair, seeing all those fish coming out of the water and then scooping them out of the boat with a net, the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the river, and just everything about the day was great. I recommend it to anyone who likes to shoot a bow. Just a few words of advice: wear old clothes because you WILL be slimy by the end of the day, wear a glove to protect your hand as you pull in the line, and wear a helmet to protect your head because you WILL get hit (just ask my mom). Thanks, Les, for a fun day!
